Together, Amaterasu and Issun travel across Nippon, awakening the sleeping gods of nature and defeating corrupted demons that threaten the balance of life. Through her actions, she not only defeats Orochi but also restores the Celestial Brush's full power, allowing her to paint reality itself with elements like wind, fire, water, and light. At the end of her journey, she is restored to full power and returns to the Celestial Plain, ensuring the sun rises once more. However, in a post-credits scene, she also returns to the mortal realm, continuing her watch over Nippon.

The morning mist clung to the rice paddies as Amaterasu trotted beside Issun, her white fur glowing faintly against the grey dawn. The young boy held the brush high, his small hand trembling not from fear, but from the immense responsibility of holding a god's power. With a gentle nudge of her snout against his leg, she guided him toward the withered tree at the village edge. As Issun painted a circle in the air, Amaterasu howled—a sound that resonated with the very fabric of the sky—and green leaves burst forth from the barren branches, signaling hope returning to a weary land.
